Acacia Energy AutoPay Terms & Conditions

 

The following terms and conditions apply if you are enrolled in AutoPay:

I, the Customer identified above, authorize Acacia Energy to, on a recurring basis, automatically charge the debit or credit card account I specified, or to automatically debit the checking or savings account I specified for payments needed to keep service active on my account.

I understand that Acacia Energy will initiate transfers/charges pursuant to this authorization not to exceed the amount I agree upon to keep my energy services active. Acacia Energy will initiate transfers or charges as regularly as necessary to keep my account active. The origination of ACH transactions to my checking or savings account must comply with the provisions of U.S. law.

Acacia Energy may discontinue processing of recurring charges if Acacia Energy is unable to secure funds from my debit or credit card or from my bank account for the payments I have authorized due to, but not limited to, insufficient or uncollected funds in the account or insufficient or inaccurate information I provided. I also understand that in the event they are not able to collect payment, applicable fees may be applied as outlined in the terms and conditions of the plan I am enrolled in. In the event my account goes into a negative balance, I understand that Acacia Energy may, if applicable, undertake collection action, including application of any applicable fees in accordance with the terms and conditions of my service to the extent permitted by law. All such fees may be collected electronically.

I also understand that this authorization to maintain my energy by recurring charges or debits is entirely optional and is not required to obtain or maintain my account with Acacia Energy EXCEPT when the energy plan or service I enrolled in requires AutoPay to obtain the benefits of that energy plan as outlined in the terms and conditions of that energy plan. AutoPay may be cancelled when it is not required by my energy plan by calling customer service or by logging into my account online.

I am responsible for providing Acacia Energy with accurate payment account information if such information changes in the future. I understand that I may call customer service or access my account online one day prior to my next automatic debit or charge to request recurring payments be changed or discontinued. Acacia Energy will not initiate further transfers or charges after I have cancelled and Acacia Energy has had a reasonable period of time to process my request. I also understand that I am not waiving my rights under the Electronic Funds Transfer Act to stop payments by directly contacting the financial institution where I have the checking or savings account I specified above, and that my exercise of such rights does not constitute a breach of this authorization.

I understand that from time to time, Acacia Energy may revise these terms and conditions. Acacia Energy will provide notice of such revisions by publicly posting revised auto payment terms on our website for your review. If I do not agree with these terms, I have the right to cancel my automatic payments by calling customer service or by logging into my account online. By continuing to use AutoPay after any revisions are in effect, I accept and agree to all revisions.
